FOCUSING ON YOUTH

CONGRATULATIONS to our graduating Seniors:  JOEY YBARRA, WHITNEY VAN ALSTYNE, and TARISSA LAWHON.   They were recognized at the May 31 Worship Service and presented gifts from the UMW and from the Church.  Pictured from l. to r.:  JOEY, WHITNEY, TARISSA, SANDRA BRAUN, PASTOR JEFF and DANA JORDY. JOEY intends to train to be a Vet Tech, WHITNEY will be attending A&M to major in Pre-Med, with plans to work in the area of Pediatrics, and TARISSA plans to major in education.

CONGRATULATIONS, also to CALI  ROPER who completed her freshman year by placing fourth in the 3200 at the State Track and Field Meet in Austin.  She ran the distance in 11:15.76
