  • Dr. Nathan Hodge

    Pastor

    Dr. Nathan Hodge (@nathanhodge) was appointed to First United Methodist Church of Willis in July 2015, after serving pastorates in Hallsville, TX and Canton, TX. Nathan has received degrees at Stephen F. Austin State University (BA), Southern Methodist University (MDiv) and Texas Christian University (DMin). Nathan is married to Amy Hodge, and has three sons: Andrew, Ian, and Charles.

  • REv. Amy Hodge

    Minister to Children and Families

    Rev. Amy Hodge is excited to work with Children and Families at First United Methodist of Willis.  She has served as Campus Minister at the Wesley Foundation at Kilgore College, Preschool Director at Canton First UMC, and Minister to Children at Christ Church UM in The Woodlands, TX.  She has received degrees at Stephen F. Austin State University (BS) and Southern Methodist University (MTS). Amy is married to Nathan Hodge, and has three sons: Andrew, Ian, and Charles.

  • Larry Bouriaque

    Choirmaster, Organist, Administrative Assistant

    Larry Bouriaque is originally from Creole, LA. He studied organ at Louisiana College and McNeese State University and privately in Denver Colorado.  Larry has been with the United Methodist Church for over 20 years.  He has three dogs: Dootdadoot, Cheuy and Cookie.

  • Jennifer Kiely

    Youth Director

    Jennifer Kiely has worked with youth for the past 10 years. She has a BS from Sam Houston State University, is a certified teacher, and is currently working towards a Master's degree. Jennifer is married to Darren Kiely and has three kids: Jyliane, Myah, and Ayden. 

  • Paulette WElls

    Pianist

    Paulette Wells has been with Willis First United Methodist Church for over 38 years. She has served as Choir Director, Organist and Pianist during that time. She has played for church services for a total of 55 years in her career. Paulette attended Sam Houston State University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching degree specializing in piano and organ performance. In 1972 she received a Master of Education Degree. She is a retired music teacher from Willis I.S.D. with 32 years experience. Paulette and her husband Mike reside in New Waverly. She has 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
